A joint meeting was held to prepare for the Province Assembly 2025, scheduled for May 13-16, 2025, at Asha Deep, Pathalgaon. The meeting started with a prayer, followed by a welcome address and an introduction to the meeting’s purpose by Fr. Binod Toppo. Fr. Provincial provided insights into the re-imagining and Restructuring (RR) process in South Asia, emphasizing that Madhya Pradesh Province was ahead in the RR process compared to other Central Zone provinces. He also shared that the JCSA had set a 10-year time-frame to complete the RR process, with external restructuring already underway in some provinces.
Madhya Pradesh Province will align its RR report with JCSA guidelines before resubmitting it.The province has undertaken both external and internal evaluations of its ministries and institutions, which will guide future actions for the RR process. Fr. Ashok Kujur presented key recommendations from the Province Assembly 2024 to improve the RR process moving forward.
The Province Assembly 2025 will be held from May 13-16, 2025, at Asha Deep, Pathalgaon. Participants are expected to arrive by 4:00 PM on May 13, with the inaugural session starting at 6:00 PM on the same day. The assembly will conclude on May 16, 2025, after tea in the evening. The theme for this year’s assembly is “Re-imagining and Restructuring of the Society of Jesus in South Asia – II (Madhya Pradesh Province).” Additionally, a session will be held on March 23, 2025, at Asha Deep, Pathalgaon, for Jesuit Collaborators to share the RR process.The meeting concluded with the RR Prayer, and participants departed after tea.
