A seminar on ‘Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults from Abuse and Maltreatment’ was organized by Education Commission of Madhya Pradesh Province at St. Xavier’s College of Education. Mr. Venseslas Toppo, 1st District Additional Sessions Judge, Katghora, Distt Korba, CG, was the resource person. There were 129 registered participants from different Jesuit Schools and from the Schools run by Diocese and different Congregation of sisters. Second Year B.Ed students also participated in the seminar. The content of the seminar were mainly two Acts, The protection against harassment of women at the workplace act 2010 and The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The deliberation on the topic was very fruitful to all those participated. The Seminar was successful under the able guidance of Fr. Rector Amritlal Toppo and the full support and active participation of the entire community.
